An End of Life Specialist is similar to a life coach for those at the end of life. It is my job to empower my clients in their last years, months, weeks, and days. I seek to help my clients' release fear and regret and help facilitate healing, acceptance, and peace.
I uses the term "End of Life" to mean those approaching the end of their lives or planning for the end of life. My job is non-medical and holistic. I do not advocate, assist, or provide my clients' with life ending measures.
Simply put, a "good death" is dying on your terms and according to your wishes. We can not always plan for death, but sometimes we can and I am here to provide you with the information and access to resources to best facilitate your transition.
My care can look many different ways. I offer practical support. I am licensed and insured Notary Public with experience filling out and completing Advanced Care Directives. I can provide holistic care to you or your loved one by conversing, reading to, or arranging a legacy project. I can sit with you or your loved one, holding space during hospice or after death. I can assist with funeral or memorial plans, providing options, interacting with professionals, and offering compassionate support.
